Megan Young on Meghan Markle: Is Mikael Daez her Prince Harry?

MANILA, Philippines — This week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are in Ireland, at around the same time as actors Meghan Young and Mikael Daez are in Paris.

In a recent interview, Philstar.com asked Megan if she can relate to her namesake (at least in pronunciation) Meghan in any way, and she said, she gets inspiration from all women around her – even from her fans.

When asked if Mikael is her Prince Harry and will they also walk the aisle anytime soon, Miss World 2013 said: “Yes, of course! I always hope for that every day. Yes, I wish and do hope for that every single day.”

Although the lovebirds have not set a date yet for the big day, they have talked about it, said Megan.

“If you’ve been in a relationship that’s as long as ours and you haven’t talked about that, then there’s something wrong with that. So, yes, of course, we’ve talked about that.”

How is it working with her real life love interest on the set of the GMA TV series “The Stepdaughters”?

“It’s fun, because I know that he knows me, so no ilang factor.”

Megan and Mikael have been together for almost seven years since 2011, and their tricks for lasting long are constant communication, understanding each other’s dynamics, openness and honesty, said Megan.
