Justin Bieber to Hailey Baldwin: You are the love of my life
MANILA, Philippines — International pop star Justin Bieber shut down all "Jelena" (Justin-Selena) fans’ attempts to make him change his mind and retract his engagement with model Hailey Baldwin.
In a lengthy Instagram post on July 10, Justin called Hailey “the love” of his life, and not singer Selena Gomez or any other girl.
“You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. You make me so much better and we compliment eachother so well!! Can’t wait for the best season of life yet! It’s funny because now with you everything seems to make sense!” Bieber wrote.
The Canadian singer-songwriter originally wanted to withhold the announcement. “Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast,” he said.
He then confessed his love for his fiancée. “Listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY.”
He clarified that he and Hailey got engaged exactly on July 7.
“Gods timing really is literally perfect, we got engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month, the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection, it’s true GOOGLE IT! Isn’t that nuts? By the way I didn’t plan that, anyways.”
Since the lovebirds go to the same church together, Justin’s post has been full of Bible passages and promises that already seem like wedding vows.
“I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make. My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! The thing I am most excited for is that my little brother and sister get to see another healthy stable marriage and look for the same!!!!”
He continued: “My goodness does feel good to have our future secured! WERE GONNA BE BETTER AT 70 BABY HERE WE GO! ‘He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains FAVOR from the Lord!’ This is the year of favor!!!!”
At around the same time, Hailey posted a tweet that seems to respond to Justin’s Instagram “love letter.”
“Not sure what I did in life to deserve such happiness but I am so utterly grateful to God for giving me such an incredible person to share my life with! No words could ever express my gratitude,” the model exclaimed.

Praises and congratulations poured for the couple, including from model and socialite Paris Hilton, who also got engaged to boyfriend of two years, actor Chris Zylka, in January this year.

Justin and Hailey, also fondly called by fans as “Jailey” as a couple, have not released any details about their wedding yet. Rumor has it that the bride-to-be was given a $2-million engagement ring and that she would walk down the aisle on one condition: that the Biebs should shave off his mustache.
