Paolo Ballesteros confirms Coco-Vic Sotto team up, hopes to showdown with ‘Paloma’

MANILA, Philippines —  Kapuso actor Paolo Ballesteros confirmed that Vic Sotto and Coco Martin will team up for this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

When asked who will be Coco’s love interest in the MMFF movie with “Bossing,” Paolo said in a jest: “Sana ako! Charot!”

During a red carpet interview at the recent Gawad Urian 2018, Paolo clarified though that he is not already a part of the movie.

“Hindi ko pa alam, sana kasama kami kay Bossing,” the “Die Beautiful” star and last year’s Gawad Urian Best Actor said. 

Known for his makeup transformations, Paolo said he saw Coco’s Paloma role in the hit teleserye “Ang Probinsyano” and he hopes to have a showdown with the matinee idol soon.

After the success of his movie “My 2 Mommies,” which had a US and a Vietnam screening, Paolo is busy doing the TV show “Born Beautiful.”

“Same people kasi, same crew, same staff kaya parang bumalik ‘yung panahon nung ‘Die Beautiful.’ Masisipag pa rin lahat, inuumaga pa rin pero masaya,” Paolo shared.

Christian Babbes, who plays the part of Barbs in the movie, has been replaced by Martin del Rosario in the TV series.

According to Christian, his management is the one that decided to pull him out of the show for an undisclosed reason.
