‘Game of Thrones’ spoiler? ‘Daenerys Targaryen’ reunites with ‘Khal Drogo’
HOLLYWOOD — Khal Drogo refers to Daenerys Targaryen as the moon of his life, while the latter refers to the former as her “sun and stars.”
The two’s team up in the hit HBO series “Game of Thrones” may be cut short after Drogo was killed, but their love was one of the best things that happened in the series.
The final season of the HBO series is to be shown April next year, and it looks like Drogo is returning on the finale as the actress playing Daenerys, Emilia Clarke, recently posted a photo of her together with Drogo, portrayed by Jason Momoa, on her Instagram account.
In her post, Jason can be seen carrying Emilia with the Iron Throne as the background.
“FYI...This is the closest you’ll ever get to me attempting ‘that lift’ from dirty dancing. Yes, my man is sitting. Yes, there’s no lake. And yes, I have no idea I’m NOT being raised above his head. (Id like to take a moment to thank alcohol for giving me courage to attempt this. Ever.) @gameofthrones @prideofgypsies,” she captioned.
Emilia added the hashtags “#nooneputsdrogointhecorner #imhavingthetimeofmylife #fyi #thankgodwegotthatmanonathrone #mysunandstarsintheireyes.”

Jason also posted photos of them on his Instagram account.
“Moon of my life @emilia_clarke every time I leave you my face hurts from smiling too much. I Fucking love you forever. Aloha j,” he wrote.
Jason also posted pictures of him in the Iron Throne together with Kit Harington, who plays Daenerys' new love interest, Jon Snow, in the series.
Because of the posts, netizens speculated that Drogo is coming back in the series, but they think he will only be there as a memory of Daenerys.
Fans around the world have been waiting for the final season of the series. Unlike the first seasons that had 10 episodes and the latest season with seven episodes, the finale will only reportedly have six episodes, although reports also said that each episode will have more than one hour of running time.
The series left off with the White Walkers destroying the Wall and are now marching toward the humans. Daenerys and Jon Snow, together with Dany’s Unsullied and Dothraki, are heading north for a battle for humanity.
