‘Goblin & Aya’? Korean film experts on Gong Yoo-Anne Curtis pairing

MANILA, Philippines — “Sid & Aya,” the “unusual” pairing of Kapamilya star Anne Curtis with Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes, has reportedly earned P65 million in five days.

After this, will Anne be able to fulfill her dream to team up with Korean superstar Gong Yoo? It is no secret the Filipino superstar is a big fan of Yoo and his hit Korean fantasy series, “Goblin.”

In a recent press conference organized by Korea Tourism Organization, Korean filmmakers and film industry insiders said: “To be honest, for the Korean actors to work with Filipino actors will be quite difficult because the price for actors’ fees (of Korean stars) is 10 times higher than here.”

“But it doesn’t mean it’s impossible,” the Korean pundits assured. “It depends on the Korean actors or actresses, whether they see the movie or the film content as good, then they could work together with the Philippine actors or actresses.”
