Piolo Pascual plans to have a baby at 50 years old

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual will definitely give his mom her second grandson, but it looks like she needs to wait for nine more years.

In a press conference held at Cities Events Place in Quezon City during the launch of My Day Collagen where he is the new ambassador, the matinee idol shared that Inigo will become a big brother soon —that is when Piolo hits 50 years old.

“Baka pag 50 (years old) na ‘ko. Kasi sabi ko dati, 35, 40 ngayon, ano pa ba? Seryoso, gusto ko pa kasi mag-enjoy sa buhay ko eh. I’m 41 now I’ve got about a couple of years and bago tumanda ng lubusan ang nanay ko, syempre gusto ko siyang bigyan ng bagong apo because she always makes me kulit. Ang dami ko pa kasi gustong gawin sa buhay ko eh,” the actor said.

Piolo said he is single right now and he is not yet ready for commitment or temptations as he said, he had no sex for the last 12 months. 

“I tried to surround myself with people para hindi ako nagiisip ng mga ganong bagay. Trabaho na lang muna. Wala pa kong oras. Kaya hindi ako lumalabas mag-isa eh.”

As an “everywhere guy” with movies, teleseryes or running a marathon to keep him busy, Piolo has now made collagen a part of his daily regimen, even calling it a super protein.

Collagen is a common structural protein found in all types of skin and connective tissues. It is considered as the “glue” that holds the bones, muscles, tendons, joints, and the skin together.
