Bee Gees praise Filipino boys' 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' imitation

MANILA, Philippines — TNT Boys members Francis Concepcion, Mackie Empuerto and Kiefer Sanchez nailed their imitation of the legendary singing group Bee Gees in the recent “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” episode.

Their performance trended on different social media sites and amazed viewers. Fortunately, thanks to social media, that video reached the real Bee Gees and they shared the TNT Boys' video on their Twitter account.

“Imitation truly is the sincerest from of flattery! Thank you #TNTBoys @YourFacePH for your rendition of "Too Much Heaven". #MyBeeGees,” the singing group posted on their Twitter account.

Judge Gary Valenciano was amazed at the boys’ performance and said the boys did an excellent job.

"I'm sure napakaraming lumigaya ngayong gabi na nanonood sa atin. Sana si Barry Gibb, I hope he's watching so he can see how talented this generation of Filipinos is," judge Sharon Cuneta added.

Barry Gibb is the only remaining member of the trio Bee Gees after the death of Maurice Gibb on 2003 and Robin Gibb on 2012.

The TNT Boys were part of the “It’s Showtime” singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan.” They were grand finalists in that contest.

The boys also appeared on both the UK and the US versions of “Little Big Shots,” where they performed Beyonce’s “Listen," which impressed talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
