MANILA, Philippines — Who are the top Filipino female celebrities on Twitter?

In a statement released to Philstar.com, the social media site provided a list of “the most talked-about and engaged entertainment icons” for the first four months of 2018.

1. Maine Mendoza (@mainedcm)

With over 4.7M followers from all over the world, Maine remains talked-about and supported even though her and Alden Richards’ (@aldenrichards02) love team ‘AlDub’ has been noticeably slowing down this year.

Last March 3, Maine celebrated her 23rd birthday with top trending hashtags #EnchantressMaine23 and #MaineMagicalAt23.

Recently, her Tweet with American actor Cole Sprouse (@colesporouse) has swept the Internet with 106,183 likes and 15,384 Retweets to date.

2. Maris Racal (@MissMarisRacal)

Maris Racal has been showing off her talent in acting and singing in the past months.

With her ABS-CBN teleserye “Hanggang Saan” ending last April, she now focuses on her singing career with the release of her two singles “Tala” and “Ikaw Lang Sapat Na,” as well as endorsements and guestings with on-screen partner, Iñigo Pascual (@ImPascualInigo).
