May the 4th be with you: ‘Solo’ character posters revealed

MANILA, Philippines — Barely four weeks out before Han Solo’s origin tale opens, Lucasfilm has unveiled new official character posters for “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”

The one-sheets individually showcase the titular Han Solo and key characters such as Lando, Qi’Ra, Chewbacca, Beckett and Dryden.

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy.

Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Directed by Ron Howard, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, Thandie Newton, and Paul Bettany.

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” is distributed by the Walt Disney Company (Philippines).  It opens in Philippine cinemas on May 25.
