MANILA, Philippines — Filmmaker Antoinette Jadaone, who directed Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto in their debut romantic-comedy "Love You to the Stars and Back," revealed what she knows about the love team, also called "JoshLia," amid rumors that the two have split up due to Joshua's admission for flirting with a model and beauty queen.
"Parang okay naman sila. N'ung kinausap ko sila, parang okay naman sila," Jadaone told reporters, including Philstar.com, in a sit-down interview for her latest ABS-CBN soap opera, "Since I Found You," starring Piolo Pascual, Arci Muñoz, Alessandra de Rossi, JC De Vera, and Empoy.
"N'ung binati nila ako, keri naman. May heart, heart, heart," she said of her recent text message exchange with JoshLia, hence, she was shocked to hear about the split rumors.
"Sobrang refreshing 'yung nangyari sa 'Love You to the Stars and Back.' Sobrang happy ako!" she said, recalling the success of the movie that paved way for JoshLia.
