MANILA, Philippines — Actors Carmina Villaroel-Legaspi and Zoren Legaspi’s twins, Cassy and Mavy, have been making waves on social media both for their looks and smarts.
A trending photo of Cassy and Mavy shows the 17-year-old siblings as the subject of a makeup transformation meme.
In an Instagram post, Carmina pleaded those who made the meme to stop putting ice cream on their faces.
Carmina and Cassy’s “twinning” bikini photos in their private resort in Batangas also went viral.
Most recently, Carmina’s “proud mama” post of her twins’ academic achievements also left netizens astounded.
Among Carmina’s and Zoren’s latest post is a video of their twins preparing to join GMA’s new TV contest, “Lip Sync Battle.”
Does all this buzz on social media mean that the twins are going to be showbiz-bound soon?
“I don’t think so, I don’t know. Because every time I ask them, they always tell me they want to study first, so study, study, study. Maybe after college, let’s see,” Carmina told Philstar.com during the recent opening of Longchamp at the ground floor of Rustan’s Makati.
“But for now, they just do guestings eh. Commercials are just fine kasi every weekend lang.”
Carmina said she has also been asking her twins if they want to join her and Zoren in Tinseltown, but according to her, “They want to study first, which is super okay. So maybe, after college, if they want to enter show business, I’ll just support them.” — Videos by Kat Leandicho
