MANILA, Philippines — Real life journalist Atom Araullo's first foray into film is to play an angrier version of himself, as "Citizen Jake."
Araullo considers the film both as a challenge and an opportunity to try his hand at another field that he has high regard for, and under the hands of no less than revered filmmaker Mike de Leon.

"Citizen Jake" had its initial screening at the University of the Philippines-Diliman's Cine Adarna. A special screening will be held on March 23, also at the UP Cine Adarna.
