MANILA, Philippines — Cory Quirino was formally installed as president of Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) on Feb. 5, replacing Dante Jimenez.
Cory was the national director of Miss World Philippines from 2011 to 2016 and was instrumental in producing the country’s first-ever Miss World winner, Megan Young, in 2013. She’s currently a member of board of trustees and overall chair of Alay sa PGH fund drive of the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation, and a council member of Philippine Red Cross.
