MANILA, Philippines — Actress and TV host Anne Curtis and restaurateur and blogger Erwan Heussaff finally tied the knot this weekend in a private ceremony in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Attended by the couple’s closest family and friends, the garden wedding was an emotional one for the celebrity couple, who dated for about six years before they got married.
The official wedding hashtag, #TheWanforAnne, has been top-trending on Twitter as of posting.
Prior to the wedding, the two welcomed their guests in a pre-wedding party, amid a breathtaking overlooking view of New Zealand, which rose to fame as the location of hit Hollywood movies “The Lord of the Rings” and "The Hobbit."
Besides Manila, Anne grew up in the neighboring Australia since she is Filipino-Australian. She and Erwan have been going to Australia and New Zealand for food trips and vacation.
During the wedding, Erwan’s wedding vows for Anne touched many netizens on social media.

“You need to consistently work at being a better person. You need to focus on things that most of us thinks is already set and lost in our character. Testing your patience, increasing your empathy, holding on to humility, loving unconditionally, swallowing your pride, and embracing gratitude. Becoming as real as possible by wearing your heart on your sleeve,” Erwan reportedly said.
“What you don’t see is what I have the privilege to be party to every day, from how she cares for her family, anonymously helps strangers in need, builds classrooms, takes care of her oldest dog, cries in front of sad news and videos on Facebook, takes pictures with more people than I would ever have the patience for, to leaving toothpaste on my toothbrush when we travel because she knows I never bring some.”
Among those in attendance during the wedding were ‘it’ girls Isabelle Daza, Liz Uy, Georgina Wilson, and Erwan’s sister, Solenn, as part of the entourage; fashion designer Rajo Laurel; Erwan’s business partner Tim Yap; actress Angel Locsin; and Anne’s “It’s Showtime” co-hosts Vice Ganda, Ryan Bang, Jugs Jugueta, Karylle Yuson-Tatlonghari, and Kim Atienza, who is among the couple’s wedding godparents.
After the wedding, the couple and their guests are said to have went on a reception onboard a private cruise.
On their wedding day, Erwan posted their engagement video to look back on their journey as a couple.
