‘Descendants of the Sun’ stars tie the knot in real life

MANILA, Philippines — From reel to real —on-screen partners of Korean drama series ““Descendants of the Sun,” Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki, are now officially married.
The Korean stars tied the knot on Tuesday in a star-studded private ceremony in Seoul, Korea.
Among the celebrities who attended the wedding ceremony were award-winning actress Zhang Ziyi, “Descendants of the Sun” co-star Kim Ji Won, “Train to Busan” actress Kim Soo Ahn, Korean stars Kim Jong Kook, Kim Mi Seok, Park Bo Young, Hwang Jung Min, and Park Bo Gum, among others.
The newly-married couple known as “Song-Song” announced their relationship and plan to marry last July.

Hye-Kyo, 35, and actor Song Joong-Ki, 32, said their “loving relationship” bloomed after doing their roles in the hit drama series “Descendants of the Sun.”
While the wedding ceremony was private, fans were fed with live stream of the wedding and updates from various Korean entertainment websites and social media accounts.
It can be recalled that Joong-Ki asked asked for fans' blessing after announcing their planned marriage.
