MANILA, Philippines — When Marlou Arizala's transformation into Xander Ford was documented on the ABS-CBN show "Rated K" hosted by Korina Sanchez, everybody seemed to have noticed, except for Korina's friend and former co-host in a talk show, Kris Aquino.
When asked about her opinion on current events like sexual harassment in Hollywood, Kris gamely explained her side in a recent sit-down interview with the press at her new home in Quezon City. But when asked about Xander, Aquino seemed to be dumbfounded.
Kris admitted that it was the first time that she heard about Ford, the former Hasht-5 member who first got noticed after viral lipsync “papogi” videos, and who got his biggest break when he was asked to guest in "Gandang Gabi Vice," which is also hosted by Aquino's friend, Vice Ganda.
Xander Ford became a top trending topic on social media for more than a week.

According to Kris, she has been following mostly British video bloggers and news sites recently and has not been tuned in to local news, which is why she did not know Xander Ford.

Recently, Ford became viral again for allegedly calling actress Kathryn Bernardo "sakang" (bow-legged). For being widely bashed in social media, Ford has also allegedly signed up to become an anti-cyber bullying advocate like Kathryn and Kathryn's love team partner, Daniel Padilla. — Video by Efigenio Toledo IV
