Why Diego is now health-conscious

MANILA, Philippines - UNTV News anchors Dr. Joseph Lee, Miguel “Diego” Castro III and Angel Lagunzad recently visited the Natural Nutrition Science, Inc.’s (NaNusci) one hectare Spirulina Farm in Cabangaan Point, Cawag, Zambales.

Diego and partner Angel shared that they are happy working together in one station. “We still do the morning show Good Morning Kuya from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. I do the morning news and interview guests about different topics, current issues and human interest (stories). In the afternoon, I do straight news in Ito Ang Balita. Right now, I’m doing documentaries titled Istorya, which, hopefully, will be launched this month,” shared Angel.

Diego, on the other hand, was last seen on GMA 7’s Strawberry Lane, Borrowed Wife and Pariko’y. “I’m not exclusive to GMA. So it’s better that I get to try other network. Right now, I’m also doing UNTV’s Why News from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.”

An advocate for Test, Talk and Take Action, Diego enthusiastically shared his personal testimony on how Spirulina has greatly improved his health condition.

“Ako kasi at age 27 wala na akong gallbladder. At 30, I have maintenance for hypertension and at 31, for gout. My parents (Angelo Castro and June Keithley) died of cancer one year apart so natakot ako and now I’m maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I’m not scared to die; I’m scared to die too young because of my wife and my children, paano na sila.”

Dr. Lee is a urologist, section head of Stone Center of Fatima University Medical Center and NaNuSci head trialist/consultant. According to him, the damaged cells of the body are replenished and will function better by taking Spirulina.

He added that Spirulina also strengthens the immune system while undergoing medical/hospital treatment.
