MANILA, Philippines — Society dictates that the older one gets, the less sexy he/she becomes.

Fitness inspiration and consultant to the stars Nadine Tengco dispels this in her new book, “Sexy at Any Age,” where she reveals secrets to looking good, feeling great, and loving one’s body through the different stages of life.

Summit Books, with co-presentor Century Tuna, launched the book on March 21 at C3 Events Place in an apt event sponsored by The Sexy Chef of Chef Barni and Rachel Alejandro, who also co-wrote "Sexy Beast" and Summit Books’ "Eat Clean Love," a healthy lifestyle cookbook.

During her "Sexy at Any Age" book launch, Nadine said she looks and feels a billion times better than she did when she was 25.

“I am twice as strong and twice as healthy at twice the age!” exclaimed the 50-year-old celebrity diet and fitness guru, who Anne Curtis-Smith calls “super mama.” Anne wrote the foreword of the book and said that Nadine taught her that dieting does not mean you have to deprive yourself.

“Your body, lifestyle, and priorities change as you age, so it’s important to find a diet that works for you at the stage of life you’re in. You can be sexy at any age,” Nadine added.

The book shares the lessons Nadine has learned through decades of sculpting celebrities’ bodies in three age groups: Beast Mode (25-35 years old), Mother Mode (36-45 years old), and Queen Mode (46 years old and above). At 50, Nadine has experienced all three stages and has emerged in her best form yet.

In the book, Nadine shares the inspiring fitness journeys of Anne and Jessy Mendiola for the “Beast Mode” years; Georcelle Dapat-Sy for the “Mother Mode” years; and Myrza Sison and Agot Isidro for the “Queen Mode” years. Stories of real people who have achieved their peak states also provide readers encouragement.

Nadine discusses sexiness by looking at societal standards of attractiveness through the years and encouraging readers to define their own standards for sexiness. She identifies the usual culprits that make us fat—stress being the greatest of them.

Nadine shares recipes perfect for a person’s needs through different life stages and quick weight loss solutions for milestone events such as weddings and celebrations.
