MANILA, Philippines – Canadian singer Shawn Mendes shared that he visited tourist destinations in the Philippines ahead of his concert.
At the press conference on Friday, Shawn, who is here in the country for the first time, said that he visited Tagaytay City, Taal Volcano and Balete Falls in Amadeo, Cavite, among others.

“It was a beautiful spot. We’re literally really driving through the bay and we drove into the woods and then it opened up to a beautiful waterfall,” Shawn told the members of the press.
“There’s a bunch of kids up there and we jumped off the waterfall and [went] swimming. It was really nice,” he said.

Asked if he’d love to have a vacation here in the future, Shawn said he is looking forward to it and would love to return to Taal Volcano and nearby tourist spots.
“I’d love to vacation here…I’d like to spend more time [in Taal], maybe next time we come by,” he said.
