Wedding plans with Aljur? Kylie answers

MANILA, Philippines — Love is indeed sweeter the second time around for Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica. After splitting and reuniting, they are not just expecting a baby; they actually became more in love with each other.

“Sobrang cute n’ya kasi he’s really making an effort! Nakikita ko na (sa kanya) ‘di lang ‘yung lover, pati father na. For a woman to see that in her partner, parang mas nakaka-in love!” Kylie told the press in an interview following her announcement as Watsons endorser last Thursday.

Aljur, according to Kylie, was not shocked when he found out that his girlfriend is expecting. According to the actress, the actor simply said: “Okay, nandyan na, kailangan na nating alagaan.”

She admitted that their religious difference – she is a Muslim, while Aljur, a Catholic - makes it hard for them to tie the knot. Hence, they have no wedding plans yet.

“We chose to wait for the baby then we’ll think about the right thing to do,” said Kylie. “Ayaw na lang muna naming isipin yun. Gusto na lang muna naming lumabas ‘yung baby at ‘pag okay na s’ya, tsaka na naming iisipin ‘yun (wedding).”

She and Aljur are taking one step at a time.

“Sa ngayon, AJ and I are thinking about the baby first. One by one!”
