MANILA, Philippines – Upcoming horror film, “Life,” is all muscle, all brain and 100 percent terrifying.

“Life” is a sci-fi thriller about a team of scientists aboard the International Space Station whose mission of discovery turns to one of primal fear when they find a rapidly evolving life form that caused extinction on Mars, and now threatens the crew and all life on Earth.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa who also previously directed “Safe House," the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare, and Olga Dihovichnaya.

The film was written by Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese (“Deadpool”) and produced by David Ellison (“Star Trek reboot”), Dana Goldberg, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn.

“Life" will open in Philippine cinemas starting March 24. It  is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
