MANILA, Philippines — “I have not lost that kilig,” award-winning singer and actress Lea Salonga disclosed in a recent press conference for her solo post-Valentine concert, “Songs from the Stage.”

When dance diva and beauty queen Dayanara Torres came back to the Philippines, people asked if there will be a reunion of sorts with his ex, actor Aga Muhlach. In an interview with ANC, Torres said she is open to do a new movie with Aga since their last one, “Basta’t Kasama Kita,” was a “classic.”

While there is still uncertainty on Dayanara’s part, in spite of her opening up to ANC about her past with Aga, one thing is on the works though — Aga’s comeback movie with Lea.

Aga and Lea did two films together – “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal,” and “Sana Maulit Muli,” which has been digitally remastered last year, with both Aga and Lea attending the film showing at the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

Since the two met last year, there have been talks about a comeback movie. In an interview with ABS-CBN, Aga said he can sense that the project is at hand since Star Cinema already gave him the script.

Lea, for her part, said in the press conference: “I want to see the script. He says he’s seen it, I haven’t seen it yet.”

For the movie to push through, she said that both of them should be in “fighting shape.”

“He says he has been working out and eating right. I am yet to see evidence of this,” she noted.

She said she would love to do the movie, but looking at how full her calendar is for the year, she is “not optimistic” that it would be finished this year. She, however, keeps her options open.

Lea just celebrated her wedding anniversary last January 10 and will be marking her birthday this February 22.

There is no one Valentine’s Day that stood out for her since she usually has a concert on that day, so she is looking forward for the upcoming one, which she will celebrate with her husband, Robert Chien.

Robert and Lea have been married for 13 years, and every Valentine’s, they go on a dinner and try to make a connection.

“We still like each other and make each other laugh,” she shared.

Whenever she is out of town, her husband serves as their daughter’s mom and dad, and vice versa.

“We love each other beyond romantic. He’s the first person to get the good and the bad news. He is a man who has fulfilled every promise he made when we got married,” she said.

“My idea of romance has changed since getting married. My idea of romance is knowing everything about your partner and still love each other.”

One thing she loves the most about her husband?

“He’ll never let me go out of the house pangit!”
