Alden Richards denies issue on 'mystery' girlfriend

MANILA, Philippines — Alden Richards denied rumors that he has a mystery girlfriend.

In an article published on Thursday, STAR entertainment columnist Ricky Lo cited a source who reported that the actor's car is often seen in the vicinity of a village in Makati City.

Richards, for his part, said that the only time he went to a "posh" village in Makati City was when he visited Belo Medical Group CEO and founder Vicki Belo and her daughter Scarlet Snow.

"I just wanna make it clear that I don't have a mystery girlfriend," Richards said in a Facebook post.

The GMA-7 talent also said that he has not yet purchased a GMC car at the time he visited Belo.

The report claimed that Richards met his supposed "mystery" girlfriend during an event for a soft drink company.

"Just want to clarify the circulating issue... then again, 'not true," Richards said on his Twitter account.
