Dingdong, Megan & Andrea make good chemistry

MANILA, Philippines - A lot of good things are happening to Dingdong Dantes these days. Aside from doing successful movies like The Aswang Chronicles and The Unmarried Wife, he’s enjoying a happy family life with Marian Rivera and their beautiful daughter Baby Zia, and topbilling one of GMA 7’s top-rating primetime shows for 2016, Alyas Robin Hood.

“Sa panahon ngayon maraming mga options ang mga viewers, may drama, comedy, madalas maraming attempts sa action, isa sa pinaka mahirap gawin with regards sa productions. So we are definitely doing something right with Alyas Robin Hood, there’s action, there’s humor, there’s a loveteam. Nabuo pa nga ang Team Sarri and Team Venus. I’m just overwhelmed. I’m very lucky to be working with them dahil nag swak talaga kami (because we clicked),” shared Dingdong during a press visit to the Alyas Robin Hood set in San Mateo, Rizal.

It was in last week’s episode when televiewers saw Megan and Andrea get naughty and a bit daring. Megan said that she enjoyed working with Dingdong and Andrea. “It’s our first time (working) with each other. There’s pressure but we’re happy on the set. Everything is just free-flowing with everyone during tapings. Take, for example, my swimsuit showdown with Andrea, bigla lang sinabi. In fairness (to us), we pulled it off.”

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old beauty queen-actress seems to have become more mature with regards to her decisions in life and in her career. Megan shared about setting certain limitations. “Ever since I started in the business, I think the limitation would be with myself, na parang I just don’t wanna show anything lang (for the sake of it). Whatever the script requires of me and what my director requires of me, I think we all have to meet in the middle man lang kasi hindi pwedeng sobrahan ang isang bagay. As long as it improves the scene, why not?”

Meanwhile, Andrea clarified her true relationship with Kapuso comedian Sef Cadayona. “I’m single. Hindi naman naging kami. Wala akong dapat aminin.” Andrea also maintained that there’s no friction between her and fellow Kapuso star Marian Rivera. “Not true. We are fine ni ate Marian at nag-uusap kami because we are under the same management. Nagpapadala pa nga ako ng pagkain sa kanya.”

Also seen during the set visit were Dennis Padilla, Rey PJ Abellana, Michael Flores, Sid Lucero and Cherie Gil.
