MANILA, Philippines – American panelists from video site Fomo Daily recently compared two Filipino actresses, Maine Mendoza and Liza Soberano and voted for their favorite.

Fomo Daily pitted Liza and Maine in three rounds, voting based on their Instagram accounts, coffee commercial and movie trailers.

One panelist at Fomo Daily said she knew of Maine because of her fame from Dubsmash videos online, but she has not heard of Liza.

During the voting rounds, the panelists praised the beauty of the two women.

"She's way too prettier than this dude," a female panelist said of Maine referring to her movie poster with his onscreen partner, Alden Richards.

One panelist also noticed Liza’s looks. “She doesn't need to advertise herself that much... She's so beautiful,” a pair of panelist said.

“She's super cute, it's not so much personality and I'm into that,” another panelist said while describing Liza.

Despite their compliments, Fomo Daily only chose one of the two actresses. Is it the noontime show Kalyeserye segment-famed Maine? Or is it one of Kapamilya’s beautiful faces, Liza?

The culture curator also said it has Filipino love team followers. They previously chose between Kapampilya stars Nadine Lustre and Kathryn Bernardo. — Rosette Adel
