Filipino-made doll named Miss Beauty Doll 2016
MANILA, Philippines — A Philippine-made doll named Shawnah Bautista Vasquez was added to the list of the country’s beauty queens after it was crowned Miss Beauty Doll 2016.
Shawnah, who emerged as the Miss Beauty Doll 2016 after being directed by Cholo Ayuyao, was described as a 23-year-old from Angeles City.
According to her biography, Shawnah is a "professional model, a home cook, and journalism graduate" and is also a "prolific blogger" who writes about her work as a model.
Shawnah bagged a crown with red ruby and diamonds designed by Chatiara valued at $1000.
The Philippine representative was seconded by Miss Vietnam, Dang Thuy Nam, followed by second runner-up Miss Puerto Rico Denise Marrie Torres and third runner-up Miss Dominican Republic Cinthya Santos. Miss India Isha Narayan Kalpana was the fourth runner-up.
Ayuyao, Miss Beauty Doll 2016 Philippines national director, was overwhelmed by Shawnah’s win.
