MANILA, Philippines – Celebrities did not miss the opportunity to play their favored roles or the chance to scare other people through their Halloween costumes.
This year, celebrities attended various Halloween parties while wearing costumes from their favorite TV series, fairytales, and Hollywood horror or superhero movies.
Below are some of the Halloween costumes prepped by the stars:
Anne Curtis and boyfriend Erwan Heussaff rocked the supernatural Netflix series Stranger Things characters’ costumes. Anne played Eleven while Erwan portrayed Dustin.
The couple were joined by newlyweds Isabelle Daza-Semblat and Adrien Semblat who came as Captain Planet and Indiana Jones respectively. They were with their friends in New York City.
Actress Arci Munoz also celebrated Halloween outside the country. She dressed up us Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas while in Osaka, Japan.
The hosts of noontime show Eat Bulaga! have also been joining the Halloween festivities since last Saturday.
The hosts dressed up as urban legend characters, local superheroes, vampires, and zombies.
Paulo Ballesteros, known for his makeup transformations, kept it low key by simply wearing a Do-It-Yourself Salmon Sushi costume.
On Monday, Eat Bulaga! hosts once again stepped up their Halloween attire.

Jake Ejercito, who sometimes takes part in the noontime show’s Kalyeserye segment, also shared his Michael Jackson Thriller costume on his Instagram account.
Meanwhile, celebrities who have yet to show their Halloween costumes posted throwback photos of their costumes last year. Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford said they are excited to show their costumes for this year.
