Marlon Stockinger confesses to ‘seeing’ Pia Wurtzbach
MANILA, Philippines — Car racing champion Marlon Stockinger broke his silence on dating rumors and admitted he is “seeing” Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach.
“The truth? Let's put it this way if Pia was here tonight she'd be my date here so yeah obviously we see each other but we just want to keep it down low pretty much but yeah, I've been seeing Pia,” Marlon said in a televised interview during the Star Magic Ball when asked for the real score between them.
Although he admitted he feels lucky to have met Pia, Marlon said they also find their situation “difficult” since Pia is fulfilling her duties as Miss Universe in New York City while he flies to the Philippines and is mostly in Europe.
“Whenever we get the chance, we make the most out of it," Marlon said.
Marlon, 25, and Pia, 27, were rumored to be dating after the Miss Universe posted a photo of her and the Filipino-Swiss car racer on her Instagram account. Pia also stopped posting photos of her former boyfriend Mikhail Varshavski.
The two were also seen meeting in Manila when Pia visited the country and both of them posted a photo of their meeting. Pia recently posted Marlon's photo with the caption "My favorite Swiss," and tagged the champion car race driver.
