Pia comes home for her 27th birthday

MANILA, Philippines – Reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach made a quiet and surprise home visit recently in time for her 27th birthday on Sept. 24. Earlier that afternoon, Pia had a birthday celebration with the PIAnatics, her loyal group of fans that has been big supporters from the very first time she joined Binibining Pilipinas. Jonas Gaffud, head of Aces & Queens and Mercator Models, and Naxional hosted the private birthday dinner for Pia that was held at Naxional restaurant at the second floor of Uptown Parade in BGC, which is co-owned by Jonas.

The party was attended by Pia’s close friends and members of Aces & Queens including the Binibining Pilipinas winners. The beauties present were 2016 Bb. Pilipinas queens, Maxine Medina (Universe), Kylie Verzosa (International), Nicole Cordoves (Grand International) and 2011 Miss Universe third runner-up Shamcey Supsup, who came with husband Lloyd Lee. Lloyd and Shamcey excitedly shared the success and expansion plans of their restaurant Pedro and Coi. Aces & Queens members who were at the party included Jonas, Arnold “Mama Ruffa” Mercado, lawyer Nad Bronce, Paolo Baysa and Gerry Diaz. Also present were Jim Ryan Ross, Raymond Galang, Dave Grona and Carissa Cielo Medved.
