Team YeY making kids become better every day

Yey! is a digital television channel created by ABS-CBN Corporation. It is free and airs exclusively on ABS-CBN TVplus, SKYcable and Destiny Cable.

Yey! presents the first locally-produced all-day kids channel on digital TV. It carries Team YeY!, a new daily show from Mondays to Sundays that features six kids (AJ, Mitch, Sam, Hannah, Raven and Luke) sharing their talents and skills.

Entertaining activities such as dancing, food preparation, arts and crafts, sports, storytelling, music and fun challenges are among the features of the first locally-produced kid’s show on digital free TV. Team YeY members are ready to share their talents each day of the week. One activity is highlighted per day with one of the Team YeY taking the lead. Every Monday, kids learn the basic steps from Dance Kids finalist AJ Urquia in Galaw Go, which shows a variety of cool dance moves, including hip-hop and folk dance that will get kids’ energy pumping and help them express themselves.

Snaks Naman is led by Goin’ Bulilit actress and foodie at heart Mitch Naco. Every Tuesday becomes a yummy and interesting day for kids. It is all about preparing tasty kiddie dishes in a fun way. Mitch gives a touch of creativity to desserts, drinks and snacks to show kids that preparing meals can be enjoyable even if they do it on their own.

Meanwhile, have fun and be creative on Wednesdays with budding artist and actress Hannah Vito in Artstig, where imagination and resourcefulness come to life through arts and crafts. She also explores different ways to make kids appreciate that pulchritudinous things can be engendered out of typical and found items.

Take a break from your gadgets on Thursdays. Athlete and blogger Sam Shoaf hosts Game? Play!, which introduces to kids sports like basketball and traditional Filipino games like takip-silim (twilight) to demonstrate that playing games is just as frolicsome and interactive as playing games on their contrivances.

Every Friday will bring kids into different worlds of fantasy and adventure! Book lover and commercial model Raven Cajuguiran narrates heartfelt stories in Storyey where magical stories come alive in mini-theater presentations or simple animations. Apart from featuring tales that kids will relish, kids can additionally draw valuable edifications from the stories.

Start jamming every Saturday with The Voice Kids Season 1 contestant Luke Alford. Sound Check focuses on music that sparks interest through inspiring compositions and musical instruments.

Enjoy learning different things on Sundays as all members of Team YeY participate in engaging challenges via Sunday Fun Day!, where they try out experiments and games that embolden them to do more new things.

Team YeY airs weekdays at 8:30 a.m. and 4:20 p.m., and on weekends at 8:30 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. on Yey! via ABS-CBN TVplus Channel 4, SKYcable and Destiny Cable Channel 1.
