The ‘sexy’ tie that binds Enchong & Kiray

Not every actress on her level can be as lucky as Kiray Celis who patiently tackled supporting roles for years before Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde and her daughter Roselle (now at the helm of the company) realized Kiray’s star potential and launched her to stardom in Love Is Blind with no less than macho man Derek Ramsay as leading man.

“Because it was my first starring movie,” Kiray said in an interview, “I finally let my leading man kiss me,” adding in jest, “suwerte nga ni Derek at siya ang nakauna sa akin, hehehehe!!!”

Love Is Blind was a surprise hit and it called for a quick follow-up, I Love You To Death (directed by Mike Livelo) in which Kiray’s “lucky” leading man is Enchong Dee with whom she has love scenes. How the two men fell for the diminutive star must be the “envy” of other actresses on and off her level.

Because their starrer revolves around “sexy,” Conversations decided to have a “sexy talk” with Kiray and Enchong.

Enchong: Sexy is confident, empowered, independent and  down-to-earth.

Kiray: Sexy is me. Hahaha!!!

Enchong: When I am on stage and I know my performance is 100 percent.
