34 wedded bliss

MANILA, Philippines – As election lawyer Romy Macalintal would tell friends in jest, ‘I lost my independence on June 12, 1982.’ That was when he and Mila got married (left).

Last June 12, Romy ‘remarried’ Mila for the 34th time as they renewed their vows in a simple ceremony after the morning Mass at the Church of St. Benedict in Silang, Cavite, officiated by Rev. Fr. Conrad Amon in the presence of their children, in-laws and grandchildren.
