MANILA, Philippines – Baron Geisler is willing to end rift with Kiko Matos, before their cage fight organized by the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC).
URCC offered the two actors to settle their differences in a formal fight, after their recent brawl in a bar in Quezon City.
However, before the fight, one of URCC's conditions is for the two gentlemen to settle their rift.
“Well yeah, para lang matapos na, para matuloy na rin 'yong project. I mean, para matuloy din 'yong laban,” replied Baron, when asked if he’s willing to reconcile with Kiko, in an interview with the press on the red carpet of the 21st French Film Festival on Wednesday.
He added that they’re yet to finalize everything with the contract, which is still being polished by URCC.
The character actor said he’s now undergoing “exhausting” training to prepare for their fight.
When asked if he thinks his match with Kiko will be a “friendly match,” Baron replied, “Let’s see what happens.”
Baron was in the opening of the 21st French Film Festival as their film “Ma’Rosa” was recognized by the French Ambassador to the Philippines Thierry Mathou, after actress Jaclyn Jose won the best actress award at the recent Cannes Film Festival in France.
