Bb. Pasayahan 2016 pageant named

MANILA, Philippines – One of the highlights of the annual Pasayahan sa Lucena was the selection of the Bb. Pasayahan 2016. Maria Paula Lantican won the title from among 15 lovely ladies who competed in the pageant which was held at M. L. Quezon Avenue in Lucena City. Jovie Marie Doce won 1st runner-up honors while Julie Ann Gil was chosen 1st runner-up. Outgoing Binibining Pasayahan Erika Mari Japor crowned Maria Paula Lantican assisted by Lucena City Mayor Roderick “Dondon” Alcala and wife Mary Grace Benitez Alcala.

Tasked with the selection of the winners was a 10-man board of judges which included beauty queens April Love Jordan and Jenny Miller. BDO executive and Funfare contributor Gerry Diaz was Chairman of the Board of Judges. Gerry is a member of Aces & Queens, the team that discovers beauty queens and trains them for free before they compete abroad.
