Toni Gonzaga felt bad that the airing of “Written in Our Stars” was delayed because of her pregnancy.

MANILA, Philippines – Toni Gonzaga admitted that she felt bad that the upcoming ABS-CBN TV series “Written in Our Stars” was delayed because of her pregnancy.

“Na-feel bad ako for the whole team kasi, first time kong ma-experience na parang feeling ko, ako yung naging cause of delay for everyone,” she said in an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal.

They were in the middle of taping the TV series when Toni found out that she's pregnant.

Despite her desire to continue taping the series, the Kapamilya actress said that she should prioritize the welfare of her baby.

She also believes that having a child will help her portray better her role in the show, since her character has a child.

Although they’ll be on hold for a few months, Toni said she’ll be back to work after three months of giving birth.

“Siyempre, priority ko ang baby ko,” she explained. “May maternity leave naman ako. I’m just asking for the first three months na matutukan ko, ‘yong breastfeeding, gusto kong ma-experience.”
