Little Mix performs in Manila for 'Get Weird' tour

MANILA, Philippines — British pop girl group Little Mix performed in Manila last Friday for the very first time as part of a concert tour to promote their third studio album, "Get Weird."

The group - composed of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall—was first formed in "The X Factor" in 2011.

The crowd sang along the girl group as they opened the show with one of their latest songs, "Grown."

"Australia, Japan, Philippines... You have been insane so far! Don't want this tour to ever end!" Edwards said in their official Twitter account.

During their show at the Kia Theatre in Quezon City, the girls said that the Manila crowd is the loudest that they have had so far and said that they would love to come back to the Philippines.

Little Mix also performed their hits "Move," "Hair," "Wings," "DNA," "Secret Love Song," "Salute," and "Black Magic."

The group also sang their own rendition of Jennifer Lopez' "Crazy in Love."

Little Mix will also perform in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore before heading back to Europe to conclude their concert tour. — Patricia Lourdes Viray
