MANILA, Philippines – Willie Revillame and his show “Wowowin” will take a “short break” this May.
In a statement posted by GMA Corporate Communications, released by the departments Vice President Angela Javier-Cruz, it said that the host will go on a “brief vacation” and prepare for the anniversary of his show.
Since this studio will be vacant for a month, it’ll be “temporarily utilized for election coverage.”
They assured the host and the show’s fans that the comeback will bring “bigger prizes, more fun games and excitement.”
This Monday, the Court of Appeals meanwhile has affirmed its order to arrest Willie due to the child abuse case filed against him.

It was in connection to the March 2011 episode of his then show “Willing Willie” aired in TV5, where he allegedly asked a six-year-old boy to repeatedly dance similar with a stripper.
