MANILA, Philippines — Miss USA Olivia Jordan, hailed as second runner-up at the Miss Universe competition earlier this year, sat as a judge Sunday night's Binibining Pilipinas competition.
Jordan, who has developed a friendship with Binibining Pilipinas Universe who eventually crowed Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, arrived in Manila on Saturday. Earlier reports said Jordan came to the Philippines upon the invitation of Wurtzbach.
On her Instagram account, Jordan said a trip to the Philippines is a dream come true for her.
"Granted it was just yesterday I was praying for a ticket to the Philippines and now I'm on my way there so that would be weird if I forgot that but you know what I mean," she posted on Saturday.
On Sunday, Jordan gave a shout-out to Filipino hospitality that greeted her.
"The hospitality of the Philippines is even more amazing than I could have ever expected," the 27-year-old beauty wrote.
She also posted a photo of her with security personnel to thank them for "taking care" of her on her first day in the capital.
