MANILA, Philippines – Merck, Inc. recently launched its new campaign Win Your Day with Sarah Geronimo. The science and technology company’s event was held at the Trinoma Mall in Quezon City.
Merck, Inc., through its iron supplement brand for adults, Sangobion Iron+, has made it its mission to spread awareness on anemia so that more Filipinos can be aware of the condition.
The highlight of the campaign was the premiere of the Win Your Day TVC and music video, starring Sangobion Iron+ brand ambassador Sarah.
During the event, the singer-actress said, “When I was starting, I was doing things at the same time, may teleserye, may recording, may concert and movies. Ngayon lang ako nakakabawi.”
Aside from prioritizing her family, 27-year-old Sarah admitted that she is also preparing for her future family. “Darating din ang pagkakataon na ikakasal na din tayo, so bago ang lahat ang importante na maka-deliver tayo ng maayos sa school. So, health, studies and parents. At dahil adult na po ako, priority ko rin ang aking magiging future with someone, my future family, so kailangan ayusin lahat, kasama na rin ang health natin.”
Also featured in the video are the Anemix Girls composed of five women who were able to overcome their anemia with the help of the organic iron supplement. The members are fondly called Tired Ellaine, Sickly Paula, Pale Sheena, Distracted Princess and Dizzy Apple.
Selected through a series of Sangobion Iron+ activities that took place over several months last year, the girls went through several tests of physical energy, including a karaoke challenge. Five stood out from hundreds of candidates and proved to be the perfect companions of Sarah in the music video.
