WATCH: Vice Ganda sings 'Without You' for Wenn Deramas
MANILA, Philippines - Vice Ganda wanted to grant Wenn Deramas' request of having a fun tribute at his wake.
The Kapamilya comedian remembered how his career blossomed because of Deramas during the necrological service for the director at the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City on Saturday.
Deramas directed almost all of the Vice’s films, namely “Apat Dapat, Dapat Apat (2007), “Petrang Kabayo” (2010), “The Unkaboogable Praybeyt Benjamin” (2011), “This Guy’s In Love With You Mare!” (2012), “Sisterakas” (2012), “Broance: My Brother’s Romance” (2013), “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy” (2013), “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” (2014) and the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Beauty and the Bestie.”

Before performing David Guetta's "Without You," Vice explained why he chose the song.
"Ito ang puwede kong kantahin kasi maganda ang meaning," he said. “’Yong words ng song talagang bagay sa aming dalawa and hindi siya malungkot. Maganda ‘yong meaning pero hindi siya malungkot.”
Wenn Deramas’ remains will be laid to rest at the Himlayang Pilipino Memorial Park in Quezon City today.
