James Reid's brother approves of JaDine romance

MANILA, Philippines - James Reid's brother Jack approves of JaDine's real-life romance.

It was on Saturday when James and Nadine Lustre revealed their relationship, after the "JaDine In Love" concert at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

"I think it’s awesome," he said in an interview on Wednesday. “I’m really happy that they finally said that they’re together with the rumors spreading around. Now finally everyone knows what the truth is.”

Jack is following the footsteps of his brother as he tries his hand in showbiz.

He's part of Viva's new all-male group YOLOL, which will be seen in TV5's reformatted Sunday noontime variety show "Happy Truck Happinas."

"My brother," he replied when asked what inspired him to try showbiz. “If I didn’t try showbiz, ten years from now I might look back on this and realize this is what I want. So I tried it. It’s now or never.”

The newbie star doesn't mind being compared to his brother James, whose love team gained more following with the ABS-CBN primetime series "On the Wings of Love."

"I don’t see anything wrong with that. My brother is happy and successful. I guess that doesn’t matter," he said.
