MANILA, Philippines – American band Boyce Avenue has found a “home away from home” in Philippines.
“We missed you guys, feels good to be back. This is like a home away from home,” Alejandro Manzano of Boyce Avenue said during their concert at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Tuesday.

“We made sure to be here around February or around Valentine’s Day. So thank you guys for coming tonight. You already made tonight a special night,” he added.
Boyce Avenue - a band of brothers composed of Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian Manzano (guitar, vocals) and Daniel Manzano (bass, percussion, vocals) - has been in the country a number of times in the past.

It was in 2009 when the band first had a show in the the Philippines. The boys first met thousands of their Filipino fans during mall shows, in Manila and Cebu seven Valentine's Days ago.
Alejandro said have been “overwhelmed” by the support of their Filipino fans. This made his Fabian shout, "Mahal namin kayo!”
Some of the cover songs that they performed which elicited loudest cheers were “Wake Me Up” by Aviicii, “Use Somebody” of Kings of Leon, Adele’s “Hello,” “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls and Alejandro’s mash up of “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding and “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran.

They also performed some of their new singles like “Imperfect Me,” “Sinner” and “Be Somebody.”
“I swear the Philippines has some of the best singers out there,” Alejandro said as the audience sang along to the band.
At the end of their show, Boyce Avenue thanked everyone who was there for making it an “amazing and special night for us.”
Boyce Avenue was joined by two other performers who opened the show for them.

First is the Australian pop-rock band At Sunset who performed some of their hits like “Every Little Thing” and “Rush.”

Also there was YouTube sensation Savannah Outen who performed her hits “Can’t Take It Back” and “Closure.”
