Aiza Seguerra slams Manny Pacquaio over same sex marriage comment
MANILA, Philippines - Senatorial aspirant Manny Pacquiao is receiving flak from netizens after his sentiment about same-sex marriage has turned viral.
A video posted by the Bilang Pilipino Facebook page on Monday shows the Sarangani lawmaker criticizing same-sex marriage.
"Common sense lang. Makakita ka ba ng any animals na lalaki sa lalaki o babae sa babae?" Pacquiao said.
He added, "Mabuti pa ang hayop, marunong kumilala kung lalaki lalaki, babae babae. O di ba?"
"Ngayon, kung lalaki sa lalaki o babae sa babae, mas masahol pa sa hayop ang tao."

The video does not the show the question asked to Pacquaio.
The comment was not taken lightly by a number of netizens, including singer Aiza Seguerra, who identifies as a transgender.
"Ang kailangan ng bansang ito ay mga taong nag-iisip. Utang na loob, kilalanin ninyo ang iboboto ninyo," he said in an Instagram post.
He also said: "I am so (expletive) mad I don't know what to say. You might've done our country proud but with your statement, you just showed the whole country why we shouldn't vote for you."
Aiza further said: "And yes, I think you are an ignorant, bigoted hypocrite."
"You made me lose all respect that I had for you, Mr. Pacquiao."
