Nonoy, Marco headline show

MANILA, Philippines - On Feb. 12, Nonoy Zuñiga will join his close friend and an equally great balladeer, Marco Sison, in a concert titled My Love Will Never Say Goodbye at the IEC Pavilion (where the International Eucharistic Congress was held recently) in Mabolo, Cebu City.

The musical tandem of Nonoy and Marco will be a throwback of sorts featuring their hit songs and those of the yesteryears.

Joey Nombres will direct the concert with Bobby Gomez as musical director. Al Gabutan will be the musical director of the Cebu artists. 

Guests include singer-composer and dancer Anna Melissa. A special number by the El Tango Argentino de Filipinas will be one of the highlights of the concert.

My Love Will Never Say Goodbye concert will feature Cebuano talents led by the Cebu Clergy Performing Artists (CCPA) who just had successful US and Canada tours. CCPA is composed of Catholic priests who share their talents with ample support from gifted lay musicians who help them in their fund-raising activities like this concert. Part of the proceeds will go to different poor parishes in Cebu.

Another Cebuano talent who will guest is the 15-year-old singer-musician Sophia O.

The concert will present the NA scholars. From a group of 50 from the depressed areas of Cebu, Joey, together with Al, who happens to be their trainor, selected 12 members to be part of the concert. Soon, they will be doing their own shows and will be part of the upcoming album of Nonoy. 

Tickets are now available at The Little Theater@Cebu, 288E Gorordo Ave. at the back of QC Pavilion, Cebu City and all branches of Dong Juan.
