Sarah Jessica Parker headlines rom-com 'All Roads Lead to Rome'
MANILA, Philippines - "All Roads Lead To Rome" is a romantic comedy rounded out by a diverse cast, including stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Raoul Bova, Claudia Cardinale, Rosie Day and Paz Vega.
All Roads Lead To Rome is a story about uptight Maggie (Parker) and her former Italian lover, Luca (Bova).
The two go on an exciting road trip across scenic Italy pursuing Maggie’s rebellious teenage daughter, Summer (Day), who tries desperately to return to New York.
Meanwhile, Luca’s mother, Carmen (Cardinale) is on a secret mission to reunite with her long lost love.
Written by Cindy Myers and Josh Appignanesi and directed by Emma Lemhagen, "All Roads Lead To Rome" is centered around the different ways people follow their hearts to love.
Director Lemhagen is a filmmaker from Sweden whose film, "Patrik 1.5", had its world debut at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival. The remake of the film is currently in development at Fox 2000. Ella's new film "The Crown Jewels" is a beautiful tale of young love, intrigue and murder with a style reminiscent of Big Fish and premiered in Berlin where it received a Special Mention.
The movie was filmed on location in Italy, between Rome and Province, for six weeks.
"All Roads Lead to Rome" premieres in theaters Feb. 10, 2016.
