Coleen Garcia's return to ‘It’s Showtime’ uncertain

MANILA, Philippines – Coleen Garcia’s return in hosting “It’s Showtime” is uncertain.

It was last week when the actress-host made official her leaving the show.

“It’s the decision of management already,” replied Coleen when asked if she’ll be back in the show in an interview on Friday.

“The management decided na it’s better if I focus on acting, kasi mas mag-grow ako do’n,” she added.

The Kapamilya actress also pointed out that she doesn’t want to be “unfair” to the other hosts of the show since “hindi ko siya napa-prioritize, hindi ko rin naman siya nagagawang commitment. I have to commit myself to the show.”

Coleen also believes that leaving the show will give her and boyfriend Billy Crawford a “professional space” since they won’t be working together everyday.

“If anything mas nakatulong siya kasi we have space away from each other also, na puwede niyang gawin ang trabaho niya as a host, puwede kong gawin ang trabaho ko as an actress,” she explained.

For now, Coleen is focused with her TV series “Pasion de Amor” which is down to its last four weeks. She’ll then work on a film with Piolo Pascual and Dawn Zulueta.
