MANILA, Philippines - It was previously reported that Solenn Heussaff and boyfriend Nico Bolzico have tied the knot in Argentina last month.

But apparently, reports on their wedding, which were based on the posts of Solenn's friends on various social media accounts, are not exactly accurate.

During the press conference for her upcoming movie "Lakbay2Love" on Wednesday, Solenn said the event that happened on December 30 was not a wedding but a "celebration of their union."

"Isha-share ko ang lahat kapag nangyari ang walking down the aisle. Hindi pa nangyari yan," she said. "Matagal pa yan. So I'll just share everything then."

Talking to reporters after the press conference, Solenn further explained: "Hindi pa nangyari e anything. Parang we just celebrated in Argentina kasi hindi ko nakita yung mga parents ni Nico in two years."

"Ikakasal ako sa France in the future. Hindi right now."

When asked if the "celebration" was a civil wedding, the GMA-7 actress said: "Celebration lang for the union since wala pang celebration since the engagement."

Solenn said she and Nico saw the reports on their alleged wedding in the Philippines.

"Tumawa lang siya, he was just laughing... Funny lang."

Solenn clarified though that the celebration with Nico and his family was planned; the presence of her friends and family in Argentina was a spur of a moment decision.

"I didn't invite anyone kasi malayo naman yung lugar. They just decided to come for the vacation," Solenn said.

She further explained: "Kasi lahat ng mga kaibigan ko pumunta dun. Pero it was just, walang invite-invite. Ako I'm there every year, di ba. Every year nasa Argentina ako kapag December, tapos sinabi ko sa brother ko [Erwan Heussaff], 'Sige, punta ka this year para we can go hiking.

"Tapos bigla sabi ni (Georgina Wilson), 'Sige, punta rin ako.' Tapos si Belle rin. So parang naging barkada union."

Asked why there was a need for a "celebration of union" in Argentina, Solenn said: "In our five-year relationship, I've seen Nico's parents five times... Para din maging masaya rin yung mga kaibigan n'ya sa Argentina na hindi pwede pumunta sa future kasal kasi malayo."

Solenn talked to members of the press to promote her movie "Lakbay2Love," which also stars Dennis Trillo and is directed by Ellen Ongkeko-Marfil. The movie will open in theaters on February 3.
