MMFF 2015 earns over P700M in 8 days
MANILA, Philippines - The gross earnings of this year's Metro Manila Film Festival has crossed the P700 million mark after eight days.
The eight entries of the 41st MMFF has earned a total of P737 million from December 25 to January 1, the film fest's official Facebook page revealed.
It earlier announced that the MMFF has earned gross earnings of P640 million in seven days, from December 25 to December 31.
The top four earners of the film fest has remained the same since December 29. These are, in no particular order:
- My Bebe Love
- Beauty and the Bestie
- Haunted Mansion
- ?#?WalangForever?
The other four entries are "Honor Thy Father," "Nilalang," "All You Need is Pag-ibig" and "Buy Now, Die Later."
The Kris Aquino movie "All You Need is Pag-ibig" was part of the festival's top four earnings from December 25 to December 28. However, it was overtaken by "Walang Forever" in the box office since December 29, two days after it won the Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Actress recognition in the MMFF awards night.
The 2015 MMFF will run until Thursday, Janaury 7.
