MANILA, Philippines - Good food, live music and perfect ambiance are what My Father’s Acoustic Bar and Grill is offering to its clients who are looking for a new watering hole in the commercial hub of Caloocan City.
Located at the rooftop of the city hall’s commercial complex along A. Mabini St. cor. 10th Ave., the garden setting bar offers live band nightly and a new haven for those who want to relax and chill out.
The music ranges from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and current hits performed by selected bands that are also booked in some popular bars in Quezon City and Manila.
Performing on a regular basis are Teng and Friends bannered by Gretel Tulio and her sessionists, Wedlock Band of Grace Encabo on vocals, Anthony Salazar, guitars and vocals, and Adrian Landicho on percussions and vocals, Adverb Band and Neu-Pas Band.
“The bands perform extremely well, showcasing their talents that had made them popular in other watering holes,” said Andy Porcalla, a former band member who is now the IT head of a Makati-based multinational company.
The bar opened six months ago and has been regularly visited by city hall employees, medical staff of a nearby hospital, students and other bar-hoppers from Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela and even Manila.
