Vermosa Holiday Escape with the stars
MANILA, Philippines – Vermosa, Ayala Land’s sprawling 700-hectare modern suburban community in Daang Hari in Cavite, held a Christmas bazaar recently.
Dubbed Vermosa Holiday Escape, it was a weekend of shopping and food fare with live entertainment from Noel Cabangon, Yeng Constantino and Up Dharma Down in partnership with the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM).
The bazaar was composed of over 100 participating merchants offering a wide selection of products. Among the participants were Christine “Tintin” Bersola-Babao, Donita Rose, Marissa Sanchez, Nene Tamayo, Gladys Reyes and Vina Morales.
Tintin offered to shoppers Christmas decors including Santa Claus stuffed toys. Donita and her friend Joy de Leon of Poco Deli had everyone asking for more orders of sausage sandwiches and deli products.
“Right now, since I’m free, focused muna ako sa business and I’m partnering with Poco Deli with its newest branch in Bonifacio Global City. This is in preparation for my plan of putting up my own restaurant in the future,” Donita shared.
Marissa showed her taste for curtains, bed sheets and linens. She, too, let everyone taste her original adobo. Nene’s delectable and healthy Spanish-style bangus was a hit.
Vina, on the other hand, caught shoppers’ attention with the children’s clothes and shoes on sale in her stall while Gladys sold skin care products.
The event featured over 30 food merchants including food trucks from Mercato that served delectable dishes. Biking activities were also organized such as the bike skills clinic for adults and kids and a thrilling Mountain Bike Skills Trail’s Pump Track Challenge.
Vermosa, considered as another growth center in the south, offers mixed-use components — from residential options, sports and lifestyle complex, hotel, a central business district, entertainment hubs to educational institutions that are seamlessly integrated with generous open spaces. It is accessible with the newly-opened four-kilometer Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX).
